As global AI large model training and intelligent computing center construction enter an explosive period, short-distance interconnection inside data centers is upgrading from a "supporting component" to a core link that determines computing power efficiency. Currently, AI servers are accelerating iteration towards new-generation architectures such as GB300, leading to a substantial increase in copper cable usage per cabinet, with sustained rising demand for high rates of 800G and 1.6T. Under the industrial pattern of parallel development of optical transmission and copper transmission, high-speed copper cables boast comprehensive advantages of low latency, low power consumption, high reliability and low cost. In short-distance interconnection scenarios, the cost of high-speed copper cables is only 10%-20% of that of optical modules, power consumption is reduced by 15%-30%, and latency is controlled at the nanosecond level. They perfectly meet the high-frequency, large-bandwidth and stable synchronization transmission requirements of kilowatt-level GPU clusters, becoming an irreplaceable part of the "copper-optical complementary" architecture.

Facing the explosive growth of the industry, Far East Electric has made early layout in R&D of high-speed interconnection technology and launched a full range of PCIe Gen5/Gen6 high-speed copper cables, whose core performance is benchmarked against international first-class standards. Among them, the PCIe Gen5 products achieve a transmission rate of 32GT/s, supporting 128GB/s bidirectional bandwidth; the latest PCIe Gen6 products have a rate jumping to 64GT/s with doubled bandwidth, which can meet the extreme transmission needs of next-generation AI servers and supercomputing centers. From the perspective of industry development trends, high-speed copper cables are evolving from 112G to higher rates of 224G and 448G.

Behind the technological implementation lies Far East Electric's industrial layout and quality control system. The company has successfully obtained Vendor Code from leading global and domestic artificial intelligence chip enterprises. Meanwhile, through "multi-dimensional linkage of full-chain products", Far East Electric has realized the coordination of high-speed copper cables, power cables and other products, forming an "end-to-end" computing power support capability, extending from a product supplier to a solution partner. At present, relevant products of Far East Electric have been applied in core scenarios such as data centers, high-performance computing clusters, artificial intelligence clusters and edge computing.
