OFC is one of the most important events in the global optoelectronics and optical communications industry. It is widely recognized as the world’s top international summit in optical communications featuring the highest specifications, largest scale, longest history, strongest professionalism and greatest influence.

The exhibition has attracted attention from the entire pan-tech industry. Once a premier optical event centered on the telecom sector, it has now fully shifted its focus to AI infrastructure. AI can be seen everywhere from booth layouts to new product launches. According to Wall Street CN, the core focus of this exhibition revolves around one proposition: how to fit higher-density optical fibers into a smaller physical space to meet the bandwidth and low-latency requirements of AI data centers. Nowadays, backend networks and machine-to-machine connections inside data centers have become equally important, or even more noteworthy areas. At this conference, "more" is the recurring keyword — more bandwidth, higher density, smaller footprint...

Far East Communications’ full-industry-chain layout, from precise doping of optical fiber preforms to customized cable packaging, keeps pace with this era demand. Leveraging its vertical integration capacity covering "preform-fiber-cable", the company addresses bandwidth bottlenecks and reliability challenges of computing power transmission in the AI era.

Adopting advanced VAD+RIC (Heraeus Germany) and VAD+OVD processes, Far East Communications realizes mass production of G.657.A1/A2 optical fibers. The G.657.A1 fiber inherits all characteristics of G.652.D fiber and offers high resistance to additional losses caused by macro-bending. This single-mode fiber delivers low polarization mode dispersion (PMD) and meets requirements for high-speed and long-distance transmission. Its outstanding bending performance ensures availability in the C-band and enables easy installation, especially for indoor applications with small bending radii and compact deployment. The upgraded G.657.A2 fiber further reduces the bending radius to 7.5 mm and keeps macro-bending loss within 0.5 dB, and it is seamlessly compatible with existing G.652.D systems. It is mainly applied in spine-layer interconnection of computing power centers, data center jumpers, high-density FTTH/FTTR cabling, smart buildings, FPV drones, industrial networks and special compact optical cables.

The multi-mode fiber independently developed by Far East Communications features low transmission loss, high bandwidth, excellent micro-bending resistance, strong adaptability to multiple environments and stable and reliable performance. It can satisfy low-latency and high-bandwidth demands of AI training clusters, data centers and high-performance computing.

At this exhibition, hollow-core fiber became one of the most widely discussed cutting-edge topics. To meet the T-bit level transmission requirements of next-generation computing networks, Far East Communications has long been engaged in hollow-core fiber research. The company has made breakthroughs in hollow-core anti-resonant fiber technology. Its patented product adopts an alternating arrangement of semicircular and circular glass cladding tubes, which may provide forward-looking transmission solutions for quantum computing and AI supercomputing centers in the future.

Taking light as the pulse and interconnection as the foundation, Far East Communications rides the wave of high-speed optical interconnection in the AI era and empowers the comprehensive upgrade of global new computing infrastructure.
